My husband came to Parkwest with a pulmonary embolism. All the staff were very attentive during our stay at the hospital, but our night nurse, Monica, was incredible. It was a pleasure and relief to have been given a bright-spirited nurse on our side. Her enthusiasm helped significantly ease our anxiety, stress, and concerns. She was intelligent and had a friendly demeanor. She effortlessly and effectively delivered information to us along the way. I always appreciated that she would take her time to ensure we were satisfied with understanding the information. She brought humor and had a vibrant personality. She brought joy to our room many times while things felt heavy and we were scared. She has truly been a remarkable support to us and always ensured we were both as comfortable as possible all of the time. My husband and I want to thank Monica by nominating her with a DAISY Award.
