Monica embraces all the characteristics of what nursing is. This Emergency Department nurse is caring, professional, diligent, and has exceptional communication skills. Most importantly, she provides compassionate care as if her patients were her own family members.
Monica takes the time to educate her patients in a busy, high acuity Emergency Department. She takes the time to orient and precept our new nurses. She is the backbone of the department. You will not meet a nurse who cares more about her patients and about providing them with the best care possible. Her empathy for others is remarkable, befitting of Florance Nightingale. She is truly a treasure!
