This letter is being written to personally acknowledge the outstanding medical care I received from Monica Waite during my recent labor and delivery at Emory Crawford Long Hospital. Monica was very attentive to my needs as a patient whether they were purely medical or of a supportive nature. When my son was born, it was Monica's high level of focus and quick response that allowed for him to be immediately resuscitated after an apnea episode. An hour following my delivery, I indicated to Ms. Waite that my uterus was "pulsing". Although this may have sounded strange, she was focused and attended to my concerns. Again, her sound medical judgement, expertise, and immediate response to my needs were key; they allowed for early discovery and treatment of postpartum hemorrhage. I am very thankful that Monica Waite was my nurse for a multitude of reasons.

Ms. Waite is a true asset to the medical field and particularly to the Labor and Delivery component of the department of OB/GYN and Emory Healthcare.
