We are a Canadian family here initially to sadly say goodbye to my father-in-law as he unexpectedly passed away. We flew from Ontario Canada to St. Louis, Missouri and shortly after, my family had to call 911. I was brought to Mercy Hospital in Washington and my appendix needed to be removed. I was admitted to the Medical/Surgical floor for 3 days and Nurse Mo (Monica) was with us every step of the way. She became an ear to listen, a shoulder to cry on and never once made my wife or myself feel she was in a hurry. This nurse truly shows love, compassion, and empathy to her patients. I could go on for days about this wonderful woman. Thank you Nurse Mo!
