This is a glowing report from the cath lab team regarding a STEMI patient who came through the ED, 42-year-old female who had a VF arrest upon arrival. The Cath Lab team raved about the support they received from Monica White. She had everything ready for transport when they arrived and stayed in the room in the cath lab to help get the patient prepped and sedated. She was helping get the patient on the monitor, pulling drugs, administering sedation, and trying to keep a now combative intubated patient under control. Her help was invaluable. I hear this about Monica on a regular basis. She consistently goes the extra mile, whether through her patient preparation, patient care, or hands-on support. She is an asset to the ED and her skill and compassion touches people far outside her department.
