Monika Kocsis, RN
Monika Kocsis is truly an exceptional nurse whose kindness, compassion, and dedication shine through in every interaction. She approaches her work with genuine care, eagerness to learn and grow, and an all-round outstanding presence that makes our unit and our patients better every single day. What sets Monika apart is how consistently she touches lives in a profound way. Words like “amazing,” “kind,” and “compassionate” barely begin to capture her impact, so the strongest testament comes directly from her patients and families she serves. Below are just a few examples of the impact she has had on so many:
Monika was one of my post-surgery nurses and went above and beyond to be professional, courteous, prompt, knowledgeable, and kind. She is a credit to her profession and to this hospital and her profession.

I would like to nominate her for her extraordinary compassion and care. During my illness, she was a source of strength, consistently going above and beyond to ensure my comfort and provide exceptional care. Her dedication and positive attitude helped me find the courage to keep fighting.

She was the head nurse taking care of my sister, and she was the most compassionate, caring person, answering all our questions … She went out of her way to make sure my sister was as comfortable as possible and to offer family comfort while we sat with my sister. It was genuine and appreciated, even though it was such a hard time for all of us. The hospital is lucky to have her.

She made sure my care was exceptional. I actually saw her run to help patients with non-emergent calls. She took the time to assure me and make sure I was comfortable. She took the time to talk with my family and made sure to immediately contact the Physician to address my concerns. She is an amazing part of your team. It is apparent that she loves patient care and is committed to making the lives of her patients better. She is delightful!
