My daughter came into Monika's care after an emergency surgery for 2 bowel obstructions. Monika took exemplary care of my daughter as well as me. My daughter is a nurse at ORMC. She recognizes the little things that need to be done, and Monika did them all. She flushed the NG tube, remembered the green caps on the IV. Recognized that the IV was leaking without being asked. Changed the dressing. Doing all this quietly, calmly, and competently. My daughter had to ask the other caregivers for the above items. Sometimes with no response. When Monika was with us, we could relax. She came often to check and was a blessing. I was so glad to hear she helps train others. She is exactly the nurse you want and need while in the hospital. We are extremely grateful for her care.
