I arrived at Chilton ER in severe pain due to an ongoing kidney issue. I was scared and Monika was so caring and compassionate. She put my mind at ease and made me laugh. She was very attentive and efficient; she knew what I needed before I even asked. I am a long-time chronic pain patient and have been hospitalized at Chilton many times over the last 20 years. Monika was so compassionate, she did not make me feel judged, which is a big issue for those like me who have chronic pain.
Overall, I could not believe how efficient and attentive Monika was. I have never experienced a nurse go above and beyond as Monika did; she was on top of everything! Most of all I came in scared and emotional but because of Monika's nurturing care, I was able to relax and be at ease while receiving treatment and waiting for various test results. I thank Monika from the bottom of my heart. She is a highly evolved individual and I feel Chilton is lucky to have her as a nurse. She made me feel safe, the same way a mother does for her children.
