Monina Redondo, RN, has been a staff nurse on 5South for 25 years. She says it is a real privilege to win an award that was started by a family whose son died after a short illness. Monina says when she learned that she was being honored she immediately thought of her recently deceased parents in the Philippines, making this even more special and emotional for her.
