I found one of our own team members starting to deteriorate before my eyes. What started as pain in her face ended up being much worse, with stroke-like symptoms beginning. I went to get a wheelchair, and when the elevator opened, Monique was right there. Knowing her background, I told her what was happening and that our team member was scared to go to the ER. She ran back up two flights of stairs with me to assist. She was able to have our team member agree to go to the ER. Once down there, she stayed with her to make sure she was comfortable during this stressful situation. She even tried multiple times to get ahold of a family member for her. This is what caring really means. I know she had other things to do, but she stopped everything to help out one of our own.
