My son was admitted on a Monday night, and Monique DeClet made sure to explain to me everything that goes on in the PICU and it was so helpful to me. I was nervous, and she made me feel at ease. The best part of her being our nurse was her kindness and generosity. Monique went out of her way to leave my son a sweet note and gifts. Monique left my son a book of jokes that kept everyone laughing and lightened the mood. She also left a small stuffed toy that he slept with the whole visit and even when he got home. We didn't see her the rest of the time we were in the hospital, but she was the nicest and most giving nurse I've ever had.
