Monique Martinez, LPN

Today, the Rehab unit needed another nurse. This shift had two Rehab nurses and a float nurse. During the night, the two staff nurses called in leaving a huge need to care for 15 patients. Monique volunteered to stay 4 hours adding to her 12-hour night shift (knowing she had two more nights to work) to help the day shift. Monique is a nurse who goes above and beyond to help her patients, co-workers, and unit. She has good clinical skills and consistently demonstrates care to each of her patients. Her assistance this morning was a huge help; and reflects what a team player she is. We are fortunate to have her as a member of our team.
