A massive stroke brought a man to 3-West, but his prognosis was grim. Despite the sad news, his family found a silver lining in their family member's nurse, Monique Molina. Speaking sweetly to the patient, explaining to him every procedure - even though he was unconscious throughout his stay - and helping the nursing assistant bathe him to look like the handsome dad they remembered these were some of the most meaningful ways Monique touched the patient's family.

While the patient passed away shortly afterwards, his family found strength and comfort in the care their father received during his final days.
