I am a patient in the Shannon Tower. I would like to tell you how well-kept everything is. The aides, the food, the doctors have been so helpful to me. But out of everyone, my nurse, Monique Racancoj, stood out to me. I have been in and out of the hospital for years and have experienced several healthcare providers, but she was exceptional. She made me feel like I was the only patient who mattered, took the time to explain all the details of my plan of care, and was extremely attentive. I never had to call for her because she was always so prompt with scheduled medications and checked in on me frequently, which made me feel safe, and she demonstrated that she really cared. Her gentle, caring, nurturing, soft tone, attention to detail, and confidence were unlike any other. She was exactly what patients need when they are hospitalized. I would like to commend Monique for being my Angel while I was there. Thank you, Monique, for all your hard work and making sure I recovered and got back to my family.
