My 93-year-old father was admitted to the ER at UM Capital Region Health after suffering a stroke. After three days in the ER, we were finally given a room on 8 South. It felt like we had been transferred to the Ritz. Monique, our nurse on day 2, continued to support my dad with an upbeat attitude and a patient demeanor. My sister and I were also exhausted. Knowing that Monique was caring for our father allowed us to relax a bit. We were confident that she would treat our father with dignity and empathy. We are so grateful for Monique’s professional and compassionate care.
