Morgan was my nurse for both my first and last rounds of chemo. The first round was the longest stay and most difficult for me because I was completely overwhelmed as well as confused. Morgan's calm, competent, organized manner was just what I needed to feel safe.
She always had a smile and talked freely about her life outside the hospital, which made me feel less like a patient and more engaged with life.
Having Morgan as my nurse during my recent final chemo stay was a reminder how special she is. Even after I knew what to expect, I could see she was extraordinary.
