At Women's, we have had an antepartum patient admitted for preterm labor. Unfortunately, because she was at Women's for so long, she lost the opportunity of celebrating her pregnancy with loved ones outside of the hospital. Morgan stepped into action and when this patient made it to 33 weeks, Morgan organized a surprise baby shower at the hospital, with staff being invited to celebrate with her. Morgan went above and beyond her expectations as a nurse and provided a special opportunity for this patient to celebrate her baby girl.
