Morgan E Koontz, RN

Morgan...the ways I have watched her grow over the past few years from a new nurse on IICU to a seasoned nurse who survived COVID shortly after moving to the ICU has been incredible! She gives 110% each day to not only her patients and family members, but also her fellow co-workers. Case in point: a newer to the ICU RN, in a much similar transfer position to Morgan had been, had a challenging ICU patient with CVVH. Morgan stepped up to the plate to walk this RN through how to set up the filter- how to recirculate the filter for 2(!) travels and run and document numbers. With Morgan's support and guidance, this RN would end up having a successful shift while learning a new skill. Morgan helps lift the unit spirit with her smile and laughter and strives to continue to excel in her role.
