I was admitted for induction of labor in the morning. Later that evening, as my labor progressed, Morgan arrived for her shift, and my husband and I could immediately tell that we and our soon-to-be-born daughter were in excellent hands. I delivered my first daughter at Tufts in 2020 and have nothing but good things to say about that experience. However, the level of care and compassion that Morgan provided is unmatched. She is everything that you hope for in a nurse and care provider. She was beyond attentive, made sure that we understood what was happening, and was the best advocate for my birth plan that I could have asked for. My own sister is a labor and delivery nurse and I have no doubt that she would have cared for me with the same level of compassion that Morgan did.

When my daughter was finally delivered, she experienced some respiratory complications, which resulted in her staying in the NICU for 10 days. Morgan was sure to check in with both my husband and me to make sure that we understood what was happening and to ensure that we were okay. I felt as though she was reading my mind - every time a question popped into my head regarding what was going on with my daughter, Morgan was already answering it. Her ability to empathize with us and our situation gave us the comfort we needed.

We are indeed forever grateful to Morgan and how wonderful she made our experience - even the scary parts. Morgan, if you ever get the chance to read this…thank you, thank you, thank you!!! We still talk about how amazing you are and how wonderful you made our experience. You are THE BEST!
