Morgan took it upon herself to organize a fundraiser for the wife and two school-aged children of our longest intubated COVID-19 patient. He was intubated well over a month and died just prior to Christmas. Morgan raised about $1000 and shopped for gifts for the patient's wife and children in an attempt to make Christmas 2021 a little less sad. What a genuine demonstration of empathy and compassion.
