Morgan Miserendino, BSN, RN, CWOCN

I was struggling with a wound vac one day and had been in contact with wound PT all day. It was close to shift change and I was at my wits end with it. I found the only person logged into wound, Morgan, and I sent a series of desperate messages begging for help. Morgan responded quickly and offered a lot of help. When I was still having some trouble, Morgan called and talked me step-by-step through the issue. I was so incredibly grateful. After the entire ordeal, I thanked her for staying late to help talk me through things. She just laughed and said she actively wasn’t working, she had just logged in to send a quick message and couldn’t leave me hanging when I clearly needed help. I was so touched by this, and could not believe someone would give up time from their own day to help someone in need! I’m so grateful to work side by side with someone who simply cares about the sanity of other coworkers and also the safety and well-being of patients!
