I have PTSD from childhood trauma. Nighttime can be very difficult for me as I have nightmares related to the abuse. Morgan was fully aware of the impact of PTSD and provided support that went above and beyond her nightly duties as a nurse.She acted as my advocate with other staff members to ensure they were aware and sensitive to my needs.Morgan treats patients with a level of dignity and respect that is uncommon. I feel like she sees me as a person first and as a patient second.I believe that Morgan exemplifies patient-first care with her patience, knowledge, dedication, and passion for nursing.
