Morgan was caring for a patient with a new PleurX catheter. There was not going to be funding for home heath care. Morgan took time and patience letting the patient and her sister understand how to care for the drain. This alone is not why I nominated her for the award. Morgan then went to the gift shop and purchased an angel to give to her patient. Morgan wanted to ensure that her patient and sister knew that she cared and would continue to support them even after they went home. The patient referred to Morgan as her personal angel stating she would never be able to thank her enough for easing her anxiety and reminding the patient of her own strength.
