Morgan Ratladge, ASN, RN

N is 8 months old and was scheduled for surgery, arriving at Arnold Palmer Hospital at 9 am in Orlando, Florida. I believe there was an emergency with another patient, so N needed to wait for his surgery… he didn’t go back for surgery until 1 pm. During our waiting time, Morgan was always checking in and going above and beyond to keep N distracted and happy. From blowing bubbles to taking him on fun walks around the floor, she made sure he was always getting attention. Morgan definitely made a difference in our day. She also again went above and beyond by getting him a little teddy bear to give him after surgery. We are so grateful she was N’s nurse. Honestly, she helped keep us parents happy, too. As a first-time mom, I was nervous. She answered our questions and just made us feel at ease. THANK YOU MORGAN!!
