I felt the burden I had been laying on myself lifted. She not only comforted me but she also wanted to make sure I was her first priority.
I’d like to start off by saying Mrs. Stump is an angel. She is truly a blessing to all the patients she takes care of and oversees on her unit. She also is the same way with her staff, making sure no matter how her day is going that they are taken care of and have everything they need to make the day as blissful as it can be.
The day I ended up being hospitalized, I was dealing with one of the hardest weeks of my life in recent memory. I had fallen into a dark place, a pit I felt was so deep I had no hope and no light left for me. I made it through that day but those thoughts still remained. Morgan saw me the next morning, and her support, comfort, and reassurance were unfathomable. While I don’t remember everything she said, I do know that for the first time in a while, I felt the burden I had been laying on myself lifted. She not only comforted me but she also wanted to make sure I was her first priority. Her level of devotion to her patients and those she cares about is rare, and she was God's blessing to me that day. She made sure I got in touch with my family for support. She followed up on my progress until she knew I was safe and discharged. I can never thank her enough. While it may seem small, she is a big reason why I’m still standing here today. I continue to pray and wish her nothing but the best. She is a role model like no other and a hero to me. Thank you, Morgan, for everything.
