As a nurse, when you have a nurse who impacts your life and care it is so important to recognize them. From the moment she assumed care for me she was wonderful. I felt like my health and safety were in the best hands. She was patient and attentive and explained everything. Unfortunately, I had problems with my epidural and it stopped working. I was laying in the bed shaking in pain and I'll never forget her coming in and telling me she paged anesthesia, advocating for me. She sat in the room with me every time anesthesia came in as things became increasingly worse with no pain relief. At that point, it was time to push. I was terrified and vulnerable and very upset. She stood there cheering me on, guiding me and I knew I could do it with her by my side. I have never felt so scared but so safe in the care of another person. I cry every time I think of Morgan's kindness and how she treated me like she's known me forever. She will touch millions of lives and MWH is blessed to have her as a nurse!
