The MOSU team is an amazing team that goes above and beyond in their care of patients. Unfortunately, I’ve been in the hospital more than any one person should have to be from surgery to 6 heart attacks to everything in between! I would guess about 20 times or more. The level of care in this hospital does not even compare to others.

In the past, I’ve had a nice nurse or good doctor care for me, however, this time everyone has gone way, way above and beyond. The staff made me feel so at peace and rest. They kept me happy and positive. They have made me feel heard and seen. I feel like the level of communication between me and staff and doctors has been exceptional. I really appreciate how everyone cared for me like I was their own family member. I know that a lot of people complain when someone does something wrong, but I want to tell you that your staff here are doing something right from their upbeat positive attitude to the care and concern they took when I took a turn for the worse.

Thank you, Leah, for your nurturing way when I was throwing up. I will never forget how you made me feel better. The nurses made sure that the medications would help me feel better. They double-checked everything! Some of the doctors came into my room and sat down and didn’t make me feel rushed. The specialist worked with the team so that one organ wasn’t more important than another organ. My health improved every day from the moment I arrived because of the care that I received at Ocotillo. Everyone made sure that my mental, physical, and spiritual health was a priority to them. And…not one single person, from the person taking my food order ensuring that my choices were “healthy” to the specialist to the nurses ever made me feel uncomfortable or like I was a burden to them. They never showed how tired they might be listening to my long stories. An ambulance, in the future, never better take me anywhere but here! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
