I’m a patient and was scheduled for a minor procedure - insertion of a new loop monitor and removal of the old one. I asked for a local instead of conscience sedation. Gesh made sure I was prepared for sedation if the need arose. He explained every step of the procedure and told me he would be right there if I needed anything and he was. I got nervous when they put a screen over my face - which Gesh quickly remedied.
He made certain I was comfortable and calm throughout. While I realize some may think this was a small kindness, to me it meant so much more. I trust I am not the only patient who feels this way. What a remarkable young man! I can only hope that every patient in every hospital is lucky enough to have Gesh with them during a hospital stay. His caring and compassion helped to ease my nerves and get me through a stressful time. I’m sure my doctor was just as thankful to have a calm patient. Thank you, Gesh! I am so pleased to be able to express my gratitude.
