Ms. Munirah Kiprawi's ability to help her patients through her dedication and care in a busy surgical ward is a credit to her. All the expatriate nurses leave their homes in order to make a better work-life for their families. This sometimes comes at a cost to the family unit. Ms. Munirah comes every day to work with a smile and a good temperament and this is noticed by her patients. Munirah has received 6 recommendations from her patients over the last three months, and this is unusual as it is not the custom to put nurses forward for award recognition from patients.

As her Head Nurse, I observed her working practice and found that she is always available, active, professional, and cheerful in dealing with her allocated patients. This is noticed and it is through her actions that these patients have put her name forward for recognition.
