September 2025 Honoree
Mykenzie Jirik, RN
Mykenzie is simply amazing. All of the nurses and staff at Westfields are angels, but there’s something “extra” in a good way about her.
Mykenzie went over the top in her care of our dad, who is also a husband, grandpa, great grandpa, and friend. Her communication with us was stellar, and she partnered with us and empowered us to make decisions that we could during a helpless time where we had no control. He is still transitioning as I type this, but she wrapped up her shifts and won’t be here again to care for him.
There’s something in her spirit, in how she extends care and compassion. Holding my dad’s hand, looking at him with such compassion, telling him it was an honor to care for him, and giving each of us a long, sincere hug before leaving. She is a true blessing.

Thank you, Mykenzie, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
