Mylene Serna, RN

Mylene remembered us from six years ago when she took care of my husband in ACU when he as awaiting his first angiogram in 2017. She was on the 3rd floor where my husband was. She was the charge nurse on Sunday, and she told us if we needed anything that she was there to help. I listened as she talked to other RNs, and it made me happy because she was so personable. Today, Monday, there was an unhappy wife across the way, and Mylene handled it like a trooper. Showing empathy, care, kindness, and asking what she can do to help. She's gone above and beyond and offered compassion, listened, and diffused a situation that could have become more. TVH Hospital is lucky to have her as an employee.
