Myra Griffin, RN

Myra has been absolutely wonderful for my father, but for the family as well. As a nurse, she has provided excellent care and has been very proactive. Upon starting a new antibiotic for my father (having been diagnosed with staph infection in his blood and Guillain-Barre syndrome), Myra noticed very slight cognitive changes in my father and immediately contacted the pharmacy. She also noticed a build-up of fluids in my father’s neck and brought the doctor in to consult immediately. The fluids in the neck weren’t necessarily a cause for immediate alarm, but Myra took the initiative to make sure this didn’t lead to something alarming. Myra has been very gentle and patient with my mother and my son (really, me too), making sure she is thorough in explanations and just has the most gentle and caring manner. Myra has taken a very serious and real emergency for my family and made it manageable to face. I sincerely appreciate all she has done.
