My mother-in-law was admitted for a stroke. The ER and stroke team tried to reverse it but couldn't. She was transferred to the ICU and soon was made a DNR and Hospice patient. Myra Slater was her nurse for 2 days. She was so calm and explained the dying process so well to the family. She explained everything she was doing and why and made us all feel very comfortable here. She listened and made time to talk to us. It is difficult to transition from caring for critical patients to Hospice patients. She did this with ease. She is so kind and compassionate. Thank you, Myra for taking care of her and our whole family. Thank you for keeping my mother-in-law comfortable. We love you!
