Myrtelina Hammond, BSN, RN

She is truly a kind, compassionate nurse. We lost our son the morning of his due date. She promised to stay and help deliver him even though it was past her working hours. She called and continued to follow up to make sure our family was okay, even weeks and months after his birth. She is selected to be on the care team for any mothers who have experienced the loss of a child. She is phenomenal at what she does. She totally deserves this Award. I wish all hospitals had someone like her for mothers who go through this experience.
