July 2020 Honoree
nadera ibrahim dighmosh, RN
I knew Nadera Ibrahim Dighmosh last year as a nurse and a friend too.
I would like to tell my story of this wonderful woman, whose support, professionalism, and commitment is invaluable. I have been married for 2 years and I couldn't get pregnant, I thought that I had a problem in my womb (uterus) since I suffered from intense pain, hence I called Al Khor Hospital to get an appointment with the doctor. Unfortunately, they set a date far into the future, which increased my worries and anxiety.
I was so anxious and upset so I went to the hospital to look for a solution, I immediately encountered a smiling nurse, who asked if I needed help. I explained to her my situation and worries, and she listened with a warm heart and showed lots of care. She arranged a near appointment for me, and it gave me lots of hope.
After two days, I saw the doctor who asked me to have an X-ray for my womb in order to determine where the problem was. Nadera spared me much time and scheduled my X-ray in a very short period, she even kept arranging my other appointments in the hospital.
The doctor prescribed me some medicines which I took over the next 3 months. Fortunately, I did not only recover from the pain in my womb, but I also got pregnant.
During these months Nadera never stopped calling me and checking up on me, she was not only the dedicated helping nurse but also a warmhearted human. The news of my pregnancy made her the happiest nurse on earth. I noticed that all the doctors and nurses appreciate Nadera for her empathetic nature.
I am telling this story to express my gratitude to Nadera who contributed to my personal happiness.
