I was struggling to breathe, and Nadia has always been bright and cheerful.
I have been hospitalized for COVID Pneumonia. I am also a registered nurse and not used to being a patient. Nadia has been my nurse both on and off isolation. Being on isolation with a serious condition is scary even if I am a nurse. It was traumatic being so sick and dependent on your nurses. I was struggling to breathe, and Nadia has always been bright and cheerful. I did not worry about my care. She was in frequently to check on me and address any issues, concerns, or requests immediately. She kept me calm and cared for. She encouraged me. She is always happy, professional, and I so appreciate having her care for me. At times, she was my only contact outside the isolation room for days. I knew I had someone to advocate for me. She has definitely left an impression of the kind of nurse I was to be after I can get back to work. She is gold!
