A young child came to surgery to have oral restoration. Once the patient was in the OR the team noticed that the patient had wounds on his feet due to ill-fitting shoes. Nadine called someone outside the hospital and had them bring a brand new pair of shoes to the hospital for the patient before they were out of recovery. Nadine accepted no credit and told the family they were left over from Christmas donations, and we noticed that they were his size.
