Nadine is the epitome of what a nurse should be. I was in the oncology ward however I did not have cancer. I was severely deficient in potassium and magnesium, had chest pain and had an esophageal fungus. During the potassium infusion, I suffered severe chest pains and thought I was having a heart attack. This was the second day Nadine cared for me. She held my hand, helped me to calm down, and reassured me that everything was going to be ok. She stopped my potassium drip until the feeling subsided and advocated for me that I should have a PICC line in place. The PICC line was a Godsend! She also made sure to check on me even if I was being cared for by another nurse. She is absolutely wonderful!
