Nadine Mulligan, BSN, RN

It's difficult to put into words what Nadine means to me, but I am going to try. I came to the wound center in desperation. Desperation for my life back. During this experience, I met Nadine! I cried to Nadine and asked her to please help me get my life back so I could be with my children and care for my newborn son. Nadine held my hand while I cried and told me she would do everything in her scope of practice to help me. Nadine was not joking! She was honest with me from the beginning. She was compassionate and listened to every emotion I threw at her. She checked on me throughout the day, including coming in on her day off to check on my wound vac. Nadine's passion and dedication to her specialty and her patients cannot be taught. Baptist Easley is so fortunate to have Nadine on the payroll, but my family and I are even more fortunate to have gotten to borrow her while we were there. There is nothing I can write to express the gratitude we have for Nadine, but she is the true definition of a health care hero.
