We have been in the hospital for over a week. Nadine was our first full-shift nurse in the room beginning in the morning and every weekday through discharge for ten days. She has made us feel as though she took us into her family. She has advocated for us. She has taken the time to explain details and answer our questions. She has made connections and arrangements for the coordination of services. She trained us on the use of the feeding tube. She coordinated the scheduling of doctor appointments after discharge. She has facilitated a positive path forward for us.
