My only daughter suddenly got sick, I immediately brought her to Almoosa Specialist Hospital, and after an extensive series of tests, we were sadly told that she is diagnosed with cancer.
Our Journey with cancer started at the Infusion Center, We brought our 15-year-old daughter to the treatment center where we were welcomed by the nurses, who took the time to assess and listen to my daughter; thereafter the nurse explained to both me and my daughter the treatment plan and the goal of the chemotherapy my daughter was about to receive.
The nurse was so kind, very attentive, and took the time to talk, listen, and joke with our extremely sad daughter, which in fact made her feel much happier.
Just like any other child, our daughter feared the needlesticks, she cried every time she was pricked with a needle. The interaction of this great nurse helped alleviate the pain she suffered from the multiple injections.
We wanted to share the story of this skillful and competent nurse with everyone as a token of appreciation for all her compassion, hard work, and dedication.
