March 2019 Honoree
najah al qathami, RN
I was scheduled for an endoscopy procedure. I felt unbearable stress especially on the day I was sent in the diagnostic department. I was so anxious and concerned. Good thing that Ms. Najah Al Qahtami was there for me. She gave me extraordinary care as my nurse.
At that time, I was unexpectedly crying continuously and in a state of fear. Ms. Najah was my security blanket that enabled me to eventually alleviate my fear and anxiety. Her therapeutic involvement at the time was unforgettable. She comforted me before the procedure, stayed with me until I felt okay. She never left my side. I felt special and gained confidence from her interpersonal communication. She was remarkably effective which made me really feel so thankful. I almost wanted to cancel the procedure because I was so anxious. If it wasn't because of her, I would suffer from overthinking, which will not help in my condition. I am truly grateful for her.

Thank you, Najah, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
