Nakita Mathes, RN

Nakita took care of my mother and I have never seen the compassion and care from anyone like Nakita before. She spoke to and directed everything to her even when my mom wasn't the most responsive. Nakita told my stepfather and I everything she was doing and going to do in detail. She did mention to me that she knew my mom and her history from having her in an outpatient setting. This made me feel reassured she knew and remembered her complicated medical history and needs. She took the time to listen to and answer my questions and concerns, above all my suggestions as I advocated for my mom's needs. As a nurse myself, which I did not mention to Nakita, I have high expectations to how my mom gets treated. She exceeded those expectations. She took her time, was never in a rush and more importantly never seemed annoyed and encouraged us to ask her any questions we may have had. She even made us laugh during this difficult time. Nakita is the best nurse I have encountered. Thank you, Nakita, for all you have done and continue to do in your nursing career, I wish you all of the best.
