My 4-year-old came to the ER last night as he was having trouble breathing. Nurse Nam had to get an IV in a 4-year-old and really was gentle and so comforting to my young, scared child. He was making jokes and trying to keep both mom and patient calm. He also had to do a nose swab and was so gentle about my son’s fears and needs.

Nurse Nam was the superhero my son and I needed last night.
