When I first came to Winchester Hospital, I was emotionally drained and exhausted after having an unexpected premature birth, after an uncomplicated pregnancy. Nancy went a step further, constantly checking in on us to help us understand our own emotions throughout the process. Nancy helped us prepare for each challenge, and was incredibly compassionate in every moment she interacted with us. I saw her level of compassion every day when I saw the way she took care of my daughter, she cared for her as if she was her own daughter.

Nancy truly was the reason that I survived such a challenging time in my life. She is a treasure in the Special Care Nursery. She gave us hope when our daughter was struggling, and she inspired us when our daughter thrived.
