My uncle was admitted for surgery. During his admission, a rapid response was called. I visited my uncle in the MICU. Although I do work in the medical field seeing a family member intubated is still shocking. Nancy took the time to explain what was happening and told me what took expect. My uncle was later transferred to the 9th floor. Nancy visited and always had encouraging words. She is amazing and is truly made for this.
