Nancy is a spectacular nurse when it comes to patient care and satisfaction. Nancy always takes the time to make sure her patients receive the "spa" treatment for the day. She had been known to just go into a room, shut the door and go to town.
Nancy recently took a patient that has been with us for months now, got him up in the Cadillac chair and took him to the Healing Garden. This was no small task the patient is very needy, and required the help of respiratory for the vent and the PCA for man power. The patient had not been outside for almost 4 months and Nancy felt it was time to get him moving out there. He was out for a bit then returned back to his room where he slept very comfortably for the morning. Nancy, taking the time to make this happen, shows her devotion to nursing and patient care. Nancy took a patient that had not been out of his room for 4 months and ventured to take him outside, making the patient and family very happy, and giving them a glimmer of hope for a recovery.
