Nancy Fortune, RN
Nancy had a challenging shift, including a TBI/SDH patient. She understood he’s not a person that sits still at baseline and he was constantly attempting to get up without call bell usage, etc. To facilitate distractions, Nancy brought him outside and even to Chick-Fil-A and paid for a fountain drink. In addition, she kept an attentive attitude and advocated for ortho to take another look at her other patient’s legs when others had missed a symptom. She’s outstanding!
