Nancy Hittmeier, LPN

When a child is in need Nancy gives comfort even if she isn’t that child’s nurse. She is willing to help any nurse. When the DSPs need help, she will pitch in to make sure that personal care is done. If there is a staff shortage Nancy will stay late to make sure that the children are taken care of. She will take time with a child having behaviors. She sits with the child rubbing their back and ensuring that the child knows that they are loved and cared for. She is always an advocate for the children. Even during a very challenging day, she maintains a positive attitude and a good outlook. She gets along with everyone. She has so much compassion not only for the children but also for her co-workers
