Nancy Kochilaris 2, BSN, RN, OCN

I was hospitalized for 21 days after suffering not one, but two frightening bleeds. I was in ICU, as well as the 7th floor. My nurse, Nancy, went above and beyond in my care and pain management. She was very prompt, compassionate, and helpful. On the last day of a 4-day shift, Nancy refused to leave until my labs were reviewed and my mom had the results. Labs did indeed show another bleed, resulting in another procedure and blood transfusions. Nancy's compassion and thoughtfulness meant the world to me and my mom.
